Maintaining proper humidity levels is crucial to the success of the banana ripening process. Humidity levels should be above a 95% relative humidity level to ensure ripened fruit arrives at the supermarket in the best condition. High humidity prevents bruising and brown spots from forming while the flesh of the banana remains firm.

VaporDry™ produces a non-wetting, dry fog that supports a slow ripening process resulting in a longer shelf life that prevents loss and increases profits. The VaporDry™ controller guarantees a precise level of humidification during the ripening process with its flexible timing operations and custom engineered dry fog technology.
